How to: Install a Door Viewer

How To: Step by Step
Step 1: Read the directions
Follow the instructions about locating the peep hole on the interior side of the door so it's at a comfortable viewing height.
Step 2: Drill the hole
Mark the location first on the inside of the house and drill a pilot hole. Then drill a hole from the outside of the door.
Step 3: Take the peep hole apart and insert it in the hole
Unscrew the lens from its base and install it from the exterior side of the door. Then screw the base onto it from inside. Follow the instructions to tighten it, which can usually be done with a coin.
