Emergency Numbers
Plan ahead for a household emergency with contact information that's easy to find.
If there's an accident at home the last thing you want to do is scramble through a phone directory. Keep telephone numbers for a doctor, neighbor, an ambulance, or anyone else for that matter, on a list that you and family members can access quickly. In a family friendly home the telephone is the most likely place to put a typed or neatly written list with contact information in large black print. Make several copies of the list, one for each telephone in the house and to give to family members or caregivers who don't live there. They can put those numbers in their cell phone so the contact information is accessible in case of an emergency.
